A peninsular mainland
This part extends from the region of Central Greece on the South to the region of Thrace on the North. It’s the biggest geographic feature of the country, offering large geographical diversity, multiphasic natural beauty and innumerous summer and winter destinations.
The Peloponnese peninsula
A large peninsula, separated from the mainland by the Corinth canal, which offers endless natural surroundings, ski resorts and wonderful beaches.
Islands and Islets
Greece is well-known on an international level for its approximately 6.000 islands and islets. Each one of them is a precious treasure of unique beauty, scattered either in the Aegean or in the Ionian Sea. They form wonderful complexes, painting the charming canvas of the Greek Archipelago. Ionian Islands, Dodecanese, Cyclades, the Islands of the Argo-Saronic Gulf, Sporades Islands, Evia, and Crete are the small jewels that decorate this stunning part of the earth.

“Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. ”
